"These are really beautiful," says Paul of his many awards. "They look great on the shelves, but if a production doesn't sell the client's mayonnaise, or sneakers, or their dive resort, awards are nothing more than a vanity stroke. What's important is that our productions work. It's absolutely electrifying to watch people being drawn to video screens at a huge trade show, and knowing that it's our work that's compelled them to stop at a client's booth and ask for more information."

When it was still known as “Boy Genius Productions,” Paul’s company won an Aegis Award for its website. Paul produced it, and Keith Hamlin was the webmaster.

 

Paul's favourite co-producer, daughter Noelle, right, joins Flamenco sensations Teye and Belen and one of their dancers onstage at the 2004 Austin Music Awards. Noelle represented her dad, whose interpretation of the Flamenco duo's "Sol del Caribe" won the award for Best Music Video.  The ceremony is one of the anchors of the prestigeous South by Southwest event.
